Architecture Sans Fronti\u00e8res Qu\u00e9bec (ASFQ) est fier d\u2019annoncer la publication d\u2019<\/b>Architecture<\/i><\/b> +<\/b> itin\u00e9rance : pratiques inclusives pour une ville solidaire<\/i><\/b>, un catalogue d\u2019am\u00e9nagement qui contribuera \u00e0 stimuler l\u2019innovation dans les projets destin\u00e9s aux personnes en situation d\u2019itin\u00e9rance.<\/b><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans sa forme pr\u00e9liminaire lors d\u2019un <\/span>colloque<\/span><\/a> le 14 novembre dernier, cette publication <\/span>s\u2019inscrit dans le cadre d\u2019un projet de recherche-action-diffusion sur l\u2019architecture et l\u2019itin\u00e9rance. Bas\u00e9 sur une revue de la litt\u00e9rature existante, le catalogue s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9chelles de l\u2019am\u00e9nagement, de la ville \u00e0 l\u2019objet. Il recense plus d\u2019une soixantaine de pratiques regroup\u00e9es en 5 grandes cat\u00e9gories et illustr\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019aide de diff\u00e9rents projets inspirants. Aboutissement d\u2019une premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e de recherche, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour informer et outiller les parties prenantes du design, du milieu communautaire et du d\u00e9veloppement urbain en dressant un portrait des pratiques d\u2019architecture et de design qui ont le potentiel de contribuer au bien-\u00eatre des personnes en situation d\u2019itin\u00e9rance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rappelons que l’augmentation de l’itin\u00e9rance en milieu urbain, exacerb\u00e9e r\u00e9cemment par la pand\u00e9mie, la crise du logement et les crises migratoires et climatiques, questionne les modes de gouvernance urbaine et d’am\u00e9nagement de la ville. Dans un tel contexte, il appara\u00eet plus que jamais n\u00e9cessaire d’\u00e9tudier et de transformer nos villes en engageant la pratique de l’architecture, afin qu\u2019elles soient plus inclusives et solidaires des personnes en situation d\u2019itin\u00e9rance ou \u00e0 risque de l\u2019\u00eatre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pour Carolyne Grimard, professeure \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole de travail social de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al et partenaire acad\u00e9mique principale du projet de recherche, \u00ab ce catalogue permet non seulement d\u2019outiller des d\u00e9cideur.e.s mais aussi des professionnel.le.s en am\u00e9nagement, des intervenant.e.s et des chercheur.e.s qui tentent de repousser les fronti\u00e8res disciplinaires habituelles et de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir de mani\u00e8re collective aux gestes pouvant contribuer au bien-\u00eatre des personnes en situation d\u2019itin\u00e9rance. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab La relation entre l\u2019itin\u00e9rance et la conception des espaces est tout aussi importante que m\u00e9connue \u00bb, insiste pour sa part Bruno Demers, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d\u2019ASFQ. \u00ab Tout choix d\u2019am\u00e9nagement peut avoir un impact \u00e9norme sur la vie des personnes pouss\u00e9es vers la rue. Pourtant, les travaux r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 ce jour sur la question sont limit\u00e9s. Avec cette publication et la poursuite de la recherche, ASFQ souhaite combler ce manque et sensibiliser les parties prenantes aux strat\u00e9gies d\u2019am\u00e9nagement qu\u2019elles peuvent adopter en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la situation des personnes qui vivent l\u2019itin\u00e9rance. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00e9dite au Canada, cette recherche compte sur l\u2019accompagnement d\u2019un comit\u00e9 consultatif interdisciplinaire r\u00e9unissant une douzaine d\u2019experts et sur l\u2019appui de plusieurs collaboratrices et collaborateurs de recherche. ASFQ tient \u00e0 saluer leur contribution essentielle \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation du projet, rendu possible gr\u00e2ce au soutien financier du gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec et de la Ville de Montr\u00e9al, dans le cadre de l\u2019Entente de d\u00e9veloppement culturel de Montr\u00e9al et du Fonds d\u2019initiative et de rayonnement de la m\u00e9tropole.<\/span><\/p>\n
